Availability Window: Mon 10:00:00 – 20:00:00; Thu 10:00:00 – 20:00:00; Sat 10:00:00 – 20:00:00. Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.
The available hours are shown in the availability window. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you will have 3 weeks notice of your shifts. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, so if your available times are close but not exact to the advertised times, we would still love to hear from you.

You will be responsible for:
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; delivering great natural service.
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Applying training to work safely, effectively and to serve customers brilliantly.
* Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering store routines that meet customer needs at the right time.
* Participating in seasonal, community and charity events to create a great inclusive atmosphere.
* Understanding store performance and your role in driving service, sales, reducing waste, shrinking and delivering profit.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
* Being yourself, living Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
* Occasionally accepting deliveries into the store.
You will need:
* A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
* The ability to build rapport so customers leave with a positive shopping experience.
* To take initiative and make decisions that are right for our customers.
* To work well within a team and communicate openly with others.
* To build relationships with colleagues to create a team spirit, have fun and celebrate success.
