1. Provide a fully comprehensive Mammography service for the screening programme and symptomatic service
2. Complying with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH, IRMER (2017) & IRR17, MHRA and all other such relevant regulations and guidelines as appropriate to the delivery of independent sector imaging services
3. To obtain and maintain a high level of competency to meet National Standards.
4. Acting as an operator under the IRMER Radiation Regulations and assess the clinical justifications of referrals to ensure that the benefit to the patient outweighs the radiation risk Be a KIMS champion of patient experience. Through the team reporting into the role, be responsible for the delivery of excellent customer care, ensuring consistently high standards of patient experience
5. Actively encouraging collaborative working relationships with the administration teams to ensure radiology reports are processed quickly and efficiently.
Person Specification:
6. Have a Diploma from the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons) Radiography with a valid HCPC registration
7. Excellent knowledge and experience working within a Mammography role
8. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
9. Be absolutely patient focused with a drive to offering the highest standard of patient care at all times
10. Be an expert in building relationships with an intuitive and persuasive style that enables you to easily engage and build relationships with consultants, patients and the wider radiological faculty.
