Take ownership for testing
As our Embedded Software Test Engineer you will be part of our Engineering Technology Team supporting projects in industries such as automotive (including F1), metrology, hydrology, energy technology and oil & gas.
Responsibilities
* Translate product and design requirements into auditable test plans and abstracted test cases.
* Conduct problem investigation, debug and manage issue identification, correction and validation.
* Carry out automated functional verification using Robot Framework & Python and verify digital communication protocols.
* Provide technical lead in defining and documenting a cohesive software verification strategy and process for each product.
Qualifications
* Have a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering.
* Have a proven track record in project and team leadership leading to the delivery of successful solutions.
* Have software programming language experience in Python.
* Knowledge of C, C++ is an added advantage.
* Robot Framework experience is an added advantage.
* Have experience interpreting and understanding hardware datasheets and device capabilities.
