Teaching Assistant – Atherton (M46)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential for permanent)
Salary: £90 – £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Are you a passionate and proactive Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a vibrant and nurturing primary school? We’re looking for a dedicated individual to join a friendly team in Atherton (M46), supporting pupils in Year 3 and helping them reach their full potential.

The Role:
* Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to help children progress academically and socially.
* Assisting with classroom organisation, preparation of learning resources, and displays.
* Promoting positive behaviour and creating a caring, encouraging atmosphere for all pupils.
* Working closely with staff and parents to ensure every child feels valued and supported.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a primary school setting (KS1 or KS2).
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above preferred).
* A positive, enthusiastic attitude and genuine passion for working with children.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
