Warwick Zeeman Lecturer x2 (106347-0825) positions are fixed-term, three-year appointments in the Warwick Mathematics Institute, starting September 2026. Two posts are available for all areas of pure and applied mathematics.
About The Role
WZLs are temporary appointments for a fixed term of three years. They offer the opportunity to join an excellent mathematics department, with time to pursue independent research while gaining experience in lecturing and administration that will strengthen future applications for permanent academic positions.
About You
All applicants should hold a PhD and have demonstrated excellence in research and an ability to teach effectively. We aim to appoint individuals who can contribute to both research and teaching, and who will engage with our department culture. A history of leveraging opportunities such as Leverhulme Early Career Fellowships may indicate the expected career stage and independence for this position. About The Department
The Warwick Mathematics Institute is internationally recognised for its research. We run weekly seminars, workshops, and conferences, with organizational support from our Mathematics Research Centre. A list of staff and research interests can be found at the department website, and undergraduate module pages are available online.
