Role: Administrator
Location: Greenford
Pay: £27,000.00 - £29,000.00 per year
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support. This position requires proficiency in various software applications and excellent communication skills, making it vital for maintaining efficient workflows and fostering a positive office environment.
Duties
1. Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a well-organised and efficient workspace.
2. Perform data entry tasks accurately and promptly, maintaining up-to-date records.
3. Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
4. Assist in clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and preparing documents.
5. Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for staff members.
6. Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
7. Support the team with administrative tasks using Google Suite applications effectively.
8. Managing the correspondence and communications of the organization such as phone calls, post and emails
9. Bookkeeping, record-keeping or data entry into financial, personnel and legal databases and records
10. Maintenance and organization of company records
11. Scheduling of meetings and appointments within the company and the arrangement of refreshments and other corporate catering
12. Management and supervision of other administrative personnel
13. Oversight of office inventory, including ensuring an adequate supply of consumables, such as stationery or printer ink
Experience
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
14. computing skills and qualifications, including those related to word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations
15. bookkeeping and accountancy qualifications such as those of the Association of Accounting Technicians
16. competency in using industry-specific software and administrative procedures
17. time management and organisational skills
18. communications skills (verbal and written)
19. strong numeracy skills
20. file clerking skills and knowledge of the leading filing systems
21. previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.
