The role
Salary: £45,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a technically strong engineer with strong commercial Python development experience. We require experience developing software on Linux platforms. We are looking for proven software engineering experience within a product development environment. We require experience with Git and CI/CD workflows. We are looking for knowledge of automated testing methodologies. We require strong communication and collaboration skills. C++ development experience is desirable. Embedded Linux exposure is desirable. Machine learning deployment experience is desirable. MLOps experience is desirable. NVIDIA Jetson experience is desirable. Experience developing software that interfaces with hardware is desirable. Experience within engineering, instrumentation, industrial technology, or a related product environment is desirable. Responsibilities: We develop robust software applications using Python and C++. We contribute to software architecture and technical design. We build and maintain scalable Linux-based applications. We work closely with data science teams to deploy machine learning models. We conduct code reviews and mentor other engineers. We develop and maintain automated testing frameworks. We support CI/CD and release processes. We collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams. We drive software quality and engineering best practice.
