MOT Tester Required in the Croydon Area
Are you an experienced MOT Tester looking to take the next step in your career? Our client is seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join their busy team in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a reputable dealership or automotive repair environment and be a key part of their continued success.

Duties as an MOT Tester:
7. Conduct MOT inspections in accordance with DVSA guidelines and legal requirements
8. Assist and support other technicians within the workshop to ensure smooth operations
9. Monitor vehicle safety and roadworthiness, including suspension, lights, emissions, and safety systems.
10. Accurately report vehicle defects, mileage, and emission issues
11. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop
12. Communicate effectively with service reception regarding vehicle status and repairs needed
Requirements for this MOT Tester role:
13. At least 3 years experience as an MOT Tester in a busy workshop or dealership setting.
14. Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in automotive repair
15. Strong understanding of DVSA regulations and vehicle safety standards
16. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
17. Helpful attitude with good communication skills and a proactive approach to assisting colleagues
