We have a fantastic opportunity for a Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) Engineer with a focus on Thermography & Lubrication to join a forward-thinking team at a leading utilities organisation.
The Role As a CBM Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and delivering the thermographic condition monitoring strategy that supports a smarter, systems-led maintenance approach. Working closely with operational and asset management teams, you’ll use thermal imaging and lubrication analysis to drive improvements in asset performance and longevity.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine thermographic inspections and analysis on critical equipment.
Make data-driven recommendations to improve maintenance regimes and reduce downtime.
Support lubrication surveys and recommend improvements to extend asset life.
Collaborate with project teams to specify and implement condition monitoring systems.
Maintain and update condition monitoring databases and reports.
Assist with vibration analysis and other predictive maintenance activities.What You’ll Bring
HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Level 2 certification in Thermography (essential).
Experience with thermographic software, analysis, and reporting.
Familiarity with vibration and lubrication analysis (preferred).
Strong communication skills – able to explain technical concepts clearly.
A proactive, analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
A full UK driving licence (essential).What’s On Offer
Salary: Up to £51,000 per annum, depending on experience.
