Package: 46 days annual leave (35 personal days, pro rata, 1 September – 31 August), including 8 bank holidays and 3 closure days. Full‑time contract, 37 hours per week. Salary in the range of £70,478 – £76,352 per annum, starting salaries normally aligned with the first point in the grade for the role.
Responsibilities
* Support the senior leadership team in the strategic direction of the Arts, Digital and Creative Industries faculty.
* Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring high quality teaching and learning outcomes.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion and innovation within the faculty.
* Develop and implement programmes to respond to the needs of students, staff and the wider organisation.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in managing a diverse workforce to maximise performance.
* Ability to implement equality of opportunity in all aspects of work.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of audiences both within and outside the College.
* High levels of organisational and administrative skills.
* Strong IT skills and ability to use Information Learning Technology (ILT) to support learning.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team and with a range of colleagues.
* Safeguarding awareness – able to safeguard students, self, and others.
* English and maths GCSE grade C/4 or above, or willingness to obtain / equivalent skill level.
* Relevant academic or vocational qualification Level 5 or above.
* Qualified Teacher – PGCE/CertEd/DTTLS, or equivalent.
* Leadership & Management qualification or training.
* Up‑to‑date training on Safeguarding and PREVENT.
