Job Title:Stock Controller Location: Bristol-Portbury Shift: Sunday - Thursday Nights, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Pay: £14.60 per hour Barker Ross are currently looking for a Stock Controller in BS20 post code area, for a leading cold store comany looking to expand their ever growing operations team. This position will be temp to perm. Role Overview: Barker Ross are recruiting for an Inventory Control Technician to join our team. You'll work both in the office and in our cold-storage warehouse (around -18C). With full PPE provided, your main job is to keep our inventory accurate and organized. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily inventory counts and keep records up to date. Manage data related to ordering, receiving, storing, and shipping products. Order and track materials and supplies. Review orders, invoices, and stock data for accuracy. Investigate stock issues like missing or damaged items. Verify product details and ensure shipments are correct. Help with physical inventories and recommend disposal of damaged stock. Safely use warehouse equipment following all safety rules. Who We're Looking For: Previous experience in inventory or stock control is a plus. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems or willing to learn. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and working with data. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Able to work well in a team and communicate clearly. Comfortable working in a cold environment (PPE provided). Experience with warehouse equipment is preferred, but training will be provided.
