Annual salary: up to £36,800.00
Location: Govanhill / Tannochside.
Contract: Permanent, Full‑time.
Hours: Monday‑Friday, 40 hours per week.
We’re currently looking for a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our team in Tannochside. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role where you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of electrical systems across void properties within a Govanhill contract.
Responsibilities
* Maintain, repair, and install electrical systems across void properties.
* Perform fault finding, inspection and testing of electrical installations.
* Carry out repairs to electrical accessories such as sockets, extractor fans, and light switches.
* Handle first‑fix and second‑fix electrical installations.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations – including AM2 City & Guilds 18th Edition (or 17th edition that can progress to 18th).
* Full UK driving licence.
* Domestic or social housing experience.
* Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
* Inspection and Testing competency 2391 or equivalent (2394/2395) – preferable.
* Experience carrying out kitchen rewires (desirable).
