At TIFA Life, we provide supported accommodation and meaningful opportunities for young people aged 16–25 — including care leavers and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. Our mission is to help them build independence, stability, and a genuine sense of belonging. We combine high-quality care with community initiatives like our TIFA Life Community Café, creating a space where support, empowerment, and purpose meet. About the Role You will provide consistent, relationship-based support to young people aged 16 as they transition towards independent living — with a particular focus on UASC and complex care leavers. This is a hands-on, purpose-driven position: you’ll help young people build stability, develop essential life skills (such as budgeting and cooking), and promote inclusion through our Community Café (CIC). The café and wider community hub are central to our approach, offering a platform for engagement, growth, and empowerment. Beyond the Rota (Your Initiative) We’re looking for proactive, solution-focused people who take ownership. You’ll use initiative to identify maintenance needs, spot engagement opportunities, and complete property-related duties during shifts. We particularly welcome applicants from non-traditional backgrounds — including trades, hospitality, or community work — who bring a practical, people-first approach to care. Our Offer to You Welsh Real Living Wage: Guaranteed hourly rate of £13.45. Certified Training: Fully funded enrolment in our Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) Foundation Course. Stability: A consistent, supportive work environment with a focus on long-term wellbeing for both staff and young people.
