Opportunity to join an innovative, stable manufacturing business with a global footprint. Reporting to the site Quality Manager, you will contribute to the ongoing success of the plant through efficient quality reporting, data analysis, client management, and CI activities.
What you’ll be doing as a Quality Engineer
1. Manage customer concerns and use quality tools to identify process improvements.
2. Support internal and external audits.
3. Support process improvements, CI initiatives, and workforce training.
4. Monitor and analyze production data.
5. Generate quality reports and documentation.
6. Occasional UK & EU travel.
What you’ll bring to the role:
1. Quality engineering experience in a TS16949 environment.
2. Proficiency with tools such as PFMEA, APQP, Control Plans, 5S, Lean, etc.
3. Ability to use data to identify failures and opportunities for improvement.
4. Experience with metrology and dimensioning, preferably using manual tools and CMM equipment.
5. Willingness to travel occasionally across UK and EU.
