Teaching Assistant – Secondary School

A brilliant secondary school in Hounslow is looking for a confident, caring Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
You’ll be supporting students across a mix of subjects, helping them stay focused, feel supported, and get the most out of their school day. Think of yourself as the calm presence in the classroom, the extra pair of hands students rely on, and the person teachers genuinely appreciate.
What you’ll be doing
1. Providing general classroom support across KS3 and KS4
2. Working closely with teachers to keep lessons running smoothly
3. Supporting pupils who need a little extra guidance
4. Helping build positive routines and relationships around school
What the school is looking for
5. Someone patient, reliable, and ready to get stuck in
6. Experience with young people or education is a bonus, not essential
7. A good communicator who can motivate, reassure, and encourage

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
