<div><h3>Occupational Health Advisor (Peripatetic)</h3><p>Bristol & South Wales | Part-Time (3 Days/Week) | £40,000 - £46,580 Pro Rata</p><p>OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor (Peripatetic) to join a leading Occupational Health provider on a permanent part-time basis (3 days per week) covering Bristol and South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Occupational Health Advisor to deliver a full range of Occupational Health services across a diverse portfolio of commercial clients within sectors including manufacturing, engineering and pharmaceuticals. The role offers a varied caseload, flexible working arrangements, hybrid working opportunities and the chance to work autonomously while being supported by an experienced clinical team.</p><p>If you are an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Advisor looking for a mobile role with a strong focus on employee health, wellbeing and workplace safety, this position offers excellent variety and professional development opportunities.</p><h3>Occupational Health Advisor Duties</h3><ul><li>Deliver a comprehensive Occupational Health service across client sites throughout Bristol and South Wales.</li><li>Conduct management referrals and provide clear, evidence-based fitness for work reports.</li><li>Undertake health surveillance including:</li><li>Audiometry</li><li>Spirometry</li><li>HAVS assessments</li><li>Skin assessments</li><li>Forklift truck medicals</li><li>Complete pre-placement health assessments and new starter screening.</li><li>Deliver workplace wellbeing programmes and health promotion initiatives.</li><li>Administer vaccinations including Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccinations.</li><li>Undertake phlebotomy and venepuncture as required.
</li><li>Maintain accurate Occupational Health records and clinical documentation.</li><li>Work collaboratively with HR, Health & Safety and management teams.</li><li>Provide professional Occupational Health advice to clients and employees.</li><li>Support service development and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Manage a varied workload across multiple client locations.</li></ul><h3>Occupational Health Advisor Requirements</h3><ul><li>Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.</li><li>Occupational Health qualification at Certificate, Diploma or Degree level.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years post-qualification Occupational Health experience within the commercial sector.</li><li>Experience conducting management referrals and case management.</li><li>Competent in delivering health surveillance programmes.</li><li>Skilled in vaccinations and phlebotomy.</li><li>Excellent report writing and communication skills.</li><li>Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.</li><li>Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.</li><li>Experience using Cohort or Cority software would be advantageous.</li></ul><h3>Salary & Benefits</h3><ul><li>£40,000 - £46,580 pro rata, dependent on experience.</li><li>Permanent part-time role, 3 days per week.</li><li>Flexible working hours.</li><li>Hybrid working opportunities.</li><li>25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata).</li><li>Group Life Insurance (Death in Service).</li><li>Flu vaccination scheme.</li><li>Length of service awards.</li><li>Health cash plan.</li><li>Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).</li><li>Virtual GP service and private prescription support.</li><li>Online health assessments.</li><li>Retail discount scheme.</li><li>Gym membership discounts.</li><li>Ongoing CPD and professional development opportunities.</li></ul></div>
