We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant/Support Worker to join our team. Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Support clients with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible
* Help with medication management in accordance with care plans
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in clients' conditions
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support
* Support clients in engaging with social activities and community outings, including driving when necessary
* Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff
* Contribute to the development and review of individualised care plans
Skills
* Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Ability to use IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Compassionate approach with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
* Driving licence is desirable for supporting home care visits or outings
* Experience working within a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential
* Knowledge of care plans and ability to adapt support accordingly
* Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and their families
