Role Overview
Hardware Engineering Manager at FLUSSO LIMITED. Lead the hardware engineering team to design, develop, and manufacture electronics for customer design‑in projects aligned with the product roadmap.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of hardware designers, electronics assembly and test technicians.
* Manage priorities, workloads, and performance of reports.
* Conduct regular meetings, provide mentoring and perform annual performance reviews.
* Contribute to management team decisions and represent hardware engineering.
* Ensure CAD tool flow, hardware processes, and appropriate tooling.
* Drive hardware design: specification approval, interface design, safety, EMC compliance.
* Oversee design development, in‑house test firmware/software, and volume manufacturing transitions.
* Maintain electronics engineering lab layout, equipment, component stocks.
* Ensure ISO9001, 14001, H&S compliance and peer‑review reports.
* Travel internationally as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
* Hardware engineer background: digital/analogue design, schematic capture, layout, PCB fabrication liaison.
* Leadership experience managing a hardware engineering group.
* Experience planning, executing projects within a quality management system.
* Collaboration with firmware, mechanical design, sales, marketing.
* Design of high‑volume, cost‑sensitive products; liaison with contract manufacturers.
* High volume automotive, medical, safety‑critical application experience is an advantage.
