We are now looking for a Maintenance Support to join our lovely Engineering team. Responsibilities include: • Carry out pre-arrival checks of hotel rooms, suites and cottages, ensuring all fixtures, fittings, and equipment are functioning correctly. • Identify and resolve minor maintenance issues where possible, ensuring rooms are operational and safe for guest use. • Check lighting, plumbing, heating, cooling and all electrical items are in full working order. • Report any faults, damages, or larger Engineering requirements promptly to the Engineering Manager or Assistant Manager. • Ensure any identified issues are logged clearly and followed up where required. • Support general Engineering tasks across the property as directed by the Engineering management • Maintain a strong attention to detail to ensure all checks are thorough and consistent. • Work efficiently under pressure, particularly during busy changeover periods, to meet operational deadlines. • Work alongside other departments offering support as and when required. • Be aware of duty of care and adhere to health and safety legislation, policies and procedures. • Be familiar with property safety, first aid, fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly.
