Overview
Working in a fast-paced high-volume environment, the finance operations manager plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing financial transactions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. Supporting the Director of Financial transactions in endorsing a culture of solid leadership and effective management within the finance transactional teams with key focus on customer service and staff retention.
Responsibilities
* Lead the finance transactional team, responsible for processing and reconciling high volumes of financial transactions, in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
* Design, report and monitor key financial metrics and KPI's to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency.
* Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within finance operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
* Working with the learning and development team to ensure best in class onboarding of new finance employee's
* Implementing training and support plans to ensure employee's and managers are fully equipped to fulfil their roles
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all financial transactions>
* Manage relationships with external partners, such as clients, partners and vendors.
* Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies that support business objectives.
* Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial transactions to identify and address issues in a timely manner
* Ensure GDPR requirements are upheld
Qualifications
* Strong leadership skills with experience of leading across multiple finance disciplines in a high volume organisation
* Practical experience of managing a high-volume finance transactions team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Good problem solver
* Proven track record of delivering results
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Proficiency in financial software and systems
* Experience of working with automation and robotic processing tools
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry trends and best practices in finance operations
