An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stress Engineer to work on Fatigue & Damage Tolerance to join the Wing Analysis Engineering team.

This role offers more flexibility to work on a number of aircraft Wings; from Incremental developments in Single Aisle and Widebody programmes, to cost saving and continuous airworthiness modifications. Our team touches nearly all aspects of the Product Development Plan (PDP) from feasibility studies to certification and occurrences once the product has entered service.
What you will be doing:
The main tasks and responsibilities will include:
You will approve F&DT deliverables and lead the resolution of F&DT problems through the use of appropriate methods.
You will be responsible for the technical scope of assigned projects and tasks.
You will contribute to engineering solutions and ways of working borne from experience in aerospace, other industries or research environments.
You will support the development of less experienced team members on both technical and behavioural aspects.
About You:
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and competencies:
You bring experience and know-how of structures engineering and analytical techniques.
You have good knowledge of overall aircraft structural design principles and techniques.
You will hold or be close to holding approval signatory in F&DT analysis.
You are able to step back and propose new ideas.
You studied engineering and have a structural analysis background, particularly fatigue and damage tolerance.
Working in this team implies working in an international environment, as such you shall be able to communicate easily in English. You will work in a diverse and multi-national environment, other languages and experience of a wide range of cultures is therefore beneficial.
