About the role:
As Maths/Science Teacher at High Peak School, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will plan, assess and deliver outstanding teaching and learning using proven methods and approaches that enable all young people to learn, whilst ensuring that pastoral needs are also met. You will establish excellent relationships with parents and carers and inspire trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, families and other professionals.
About you :
For this role, we are looking for someone who holds a teaching degree or equivalent and QTS (or working towards). You will have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience delivering the Maths and Science National Curriculum along with experience of working with children with challenging behaviour. With a proven ability to deliver high quality, lively and effective teaching at KS3 and KS4, which engages and motivates young people, you’ll be someone who has a passion for supporting them to learn and develop, and you’ll want to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people.
