Role: Home Manager at HC-One

Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and mentor the care home team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the home.
* Develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for each Resident.
* Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies and legislation.
* Promote Residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement.
* Lead the provision through effective leadership and home management, ensuring we have the best people on-site and delivering a truly empathic service.
* Champion Resident wellbeing, establish a vision and development plan for the home, and carry out quality assurance monitoring to meet and exceed regulatory standards.
Qualifications
* Care home experienced manager with strong leadership skills and experience with multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments.
* Either a Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or willingness to study for one.
* Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You will be able to recognise signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do if there are any concerns, attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role, and undertake additional training as required. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
