Overview
As an installer you will be responsible for the installation of projects in all departments including Podium Landscaping, Green Roofing & Green Walls. Covering contracts across the London area you will be working with the supervisor, contributing to the overall running of sites and continuous improvement of the business, whilst ensuring that the highest professional, health and safety and quality standards are maintained to continually improve the service offered by Sky Garden.
Responsibilities
* Installation of green roofs, podiums and green walls, supported by the supervisor.
* Understand construction drawings and identify and resolve key issues on site.
* Be fully aware of and understand the companys H&S policy and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies.
* Accountability for project delivery on site to the highest standards of quality.
* Encourage and develop teamwork across the install teams at Sky Garden.
Qualifications / Requirements
* CSCS Card. Blue card preferred.
* Opportunities to gain further qualifications such as NVQ/SSSTS.
* No experience required other than a can-do attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
* Experience in urban greening/landscaping/commercial construction would be beneficial but not required.
* Methodical, with close attention to detail.
* Good at working with people at all levels within the team.
* Computer literate.
* Willingness to gain knowledge of construction, landscaping and urban greening.
* Full valid driving licence.
* Ability to travel across the UK with regular nights away from home.
