About the Team
Our Community Resource Centres (CRCs) in Bath and Midsomer Norton provide vital residential care services to older adults with a range of needs, including dementia and physical disabilities.
Combe Lea CRC in Midsomer Norton is a warm and welcoming care home where our dedicated team works collaboratively to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. We foster a supportive environment that values compassion, dignity, and respect.
About the Role
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Combe Lea on a permanent, part-time basis. You will play a key role in supporting residents to maintain their independence and enjoy meaningful daily experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
* Building professional, respectful relationships with residents and colleagues.
* Supporting residents with daily activities and personal care.
* Promoting independence through tailored support and engagement.
* Operating care equipment safely following training.
You’ll be part of a committed team that delivers care to the standard we would expect for our own families.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
* Demonstrates empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to quality care.
* Has experience in care (desirable), or transferable skills from sectors such as nursing, learning disabilities, or healthcare.
* Is passionate about empowering others in a supportive environment.
