SEN Tutor (QTS Preferred) - UET1

Pay: £180–£200 per day
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor, ideally qualified with QTS, to work full time within the Kingston community, delivering education at local centres for children who are unable to access mainstream school.
This is a rewarding role supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including SEMH, ASD, and complex learning needs, in small-group or 1:1 settings outside of a traditional classroom.
The role:
* Planning and delivering tailored learning programmes to meet individual needs
* Working with pupils in community-based centres and alternative provisions
* Supporting engagement, emotional regulation, and academic progress
* Adapting teaching approaches to suit pupils who are disengaged from mainstream education
* Liaising with professionals, families, and support staff where required
* Maintaining clear records of progress and attendance
Requirements:
* QTS (strongly preferred) or significant SEN tutoring/teaching experience
* Experience working with SEN pupils or those unable to access mainstream education
* Confident delivering core subjects at an appropriate level
* Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
* Flexible, resilient, and committed to inclusive education
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
