JOB TITLE: Data Assistant
GRADE: Band 2
DEPARTMENT: eRostering Team
LOCATION: Comley Bank Centre, Edinburgh
CONTRACT DURATION: Fixed Term until 31/12/26
NUMBER OF POSTS: 2
HOURS: 36 hours per week (Monday‑Friday, with possible home working depending on COVID‑19 rules)
SALARY SCALE: £26,696 – £28,988 pro rata per annum
Responsibilities
The post holder will transfer data from HealthRoster to SSTS (electronic time and attendance system), providing a full range of data management: inputting, reporting and analysis of rostering information in support of NHS Lothian staff scheduling.
Qualifications
• Experience working in an office environment.
• Good IT skills including word processing, spreadsheet and database usage with a high degree of speed and accuracy.
• Good communication skills.
Employment Terms
As of 01/04/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Correspondingly, the hourly rate will increase to maintain pay. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata.
