We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we’re seeking to recruit a dedicated and organized Repair Technician to join our team.
As a part time Repair Technicians, you will play a vital role in working on all Dover manufactured return to stock instruments. Work can include firmware/software updates, minor repairs, calibrations, and reporting findings to our quality department.
Reporting to the Service Manager based in Dover, applicants must be self-motivated and versatile as well as having some experience of electronic fault finding on a PCB level. A detailed product training programme will be available on all relevant Megger products.
This position is perfect for individuals who value work-life balance and have the ability to manage responsibilities efficiently within a 24-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will bring excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing common fault reports (repairs, calibration)
2. Completing allocated repair work on time
3. Support calibration, repairs, when required.
4. Carry out minor adjustments.
5. Produce CCC inspection reports.
6. Maintain repair reports for the service department.
Qualifications:
7. Have 2+ years’ experience in electronics, repairing components down to PCB level.
8. ERP experience also preferred.
9. A knowledge of Health and Safety practices applicable to working with low and high voltages
