Due to demand we are looking for experienced technicians to join our Optronics and Missile Electronics [OME] business unit in Glasgow. With experience in wiring and building electrical assemblies, you will perform manufacturing tasks in accordance with engineering drawings to the required quality.

Hours
4-day week, Monday–Thursday, 37 hours per week (9.25 hours per day). Start time flexible between 6:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Lunch break unpaid.
What you'll do
 * Ensure all incidents are logged correctly and escalated to H&S leaders as appropriate.
 * Escalate Health and Safety issues to the Work Cell Manager.
 * Perform complex manufacturing operations in accordance with the associated documentation and quality standards in a timely and professional manner.
 * Adhere to the defined company processes when carrying out all tasks.
 * Perform self‑assessment and approval of products.
 * Support continuous improvement actions being worked on within industry.
 * Detect faults or non‑compliance and raise alerts; contribute to diagnostics and root cause analysis.
 * Manage and record build configuration of product.
 * Use company tools (ERP, Palma, etc.) when carrying out product assembly tasks.
What you'll need
 * Experience in wiring.
 * Ability to perform complex electrical operations involving wiring and component soldering to IPC standards.
 * Experience building electrical assemblies.
 * Ability to interpret drawings and wiring diagrams.
 * Eligible to obtain full SC clearance.
Security Clearance
