About the role
:
Reporting to the Global Product Manager, in partnership with the global brand team, you'll work on delivery of the product innovation strategy and product plans.
You'll work collaboratively with both Global Product & Brand teams, on input to NPD strategies and the pipeline of new products. You will be responsible for end-to-end product development, from creating compelling consumer-led concepts to the finished product
Key Responsibilities:
• You will build product briefs that deliver against the brand strategy and own the delivery of these plans with cross functional teams.
• Mapping category trends and opportunities into product plans
• You will take ownership of the end-to-end product development for your brand from concept creation through to ensuring the on-time delivery and sufficiency of the product plans
• Project management of all NPD launches and maintenance projects in close collaboration with project team
• Manage cross functional meetings to keep projects on track, highlighting any risks to relevant stakeholders
• Translating macro trends into micro product detail these include packaging, formulation, claims & design elements.
• Competitor research, understanding and analysis of category management data
• You can demonstrate a deep understanding of manufacturing and production methods of the category. Your colleagues will look to you for your knowledge in our supplier’s capabilities and assets
• You will effectively deliver consumer relevant qualities
• You will share best practice through matrix working
• Lead the relationship with agency partners and their work on our brand from brief and evaluation, specifically packaging design
• You will lead the artwork workflow process for packaging components in line with the Brand Visual Identity
• Supporting the Global Senior Product Manager, contributing to category plans, prioritising and direction setting
• You will closely collaborate with the brand team and commercial teams for effective product implementation
• Manage Product administration across all projects
What you’ll need to have:
• Experience in end-to-end product development, delivering at pace. Previous experience on Bath Body and/or Skincare category would be of benefit.
• Extensive experience in product development, working in an FMCG environment
• Experience of leading virtual teams
• Leading the way and role modelling new processes for others
• Passionate about best-in-class delivery
