PIPS is a local company that specialises in providing support for people with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health challenges.
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of others? Are you looking for a different type of challenge? Do you want to join a team and provide brilliant support?
If so, come and join our team at PIPS and provide exceptional support!
PIPS has created many success stories, helping individuals live fulfilling lives in their communities and in their own homes for the first time.
No previous experience or qualifications? No problem! We can provide training to help you become part of a successful team providing unique, person-centred support.
We are looking for people with the right values:
* Ability to focus and build on people’s strengths
* A supportive approach that promotes choice and independence
* An understanding that everyone is equal with the same rights, needs, and dreams
The role involves supporting people to live active lives in the community, managing daily living skills, facilitating hobbies and interests, and helping individuals realize their dreams.
We provide person-centred, individualised care with a focus on Positive Behavioural Support (PBS).
You will receive a 2-week induction and training on PBS, understanding communication and behaviour, teaching skills, and enabling people to live the lifestyle they desire.
A workplace induction follows, teaching you how to support individuals in their preferred way. We also fund staff to complete Level 3 Health & Social Care qualifications. There is a leadership pathway for those with ambition, skills, and aptitude, progressing from Support Worker to Team Leader and beyond.
We offer access to a staff benefits scheme and operate a team reward programme.
If you have the right approach, skills, and resilience, we encourage you to apply!
