We are seeking a Mobile Test Automation Engineer to perform functional, regression, and integration testing. Your role will be to identify defects and ensure the software meets quality standards. You will convert manual test cases into automated scripts using Appium and Java. Key Responsibilities • Maintain framework with new scripts/CRs and framework upgrades • Carrying out testing on change requests and bugs allocated • Learning Test Methodology and Best Practice • Learning and perfecting automation skills • Adherence to the test process and standards • Ensure compliance with the Company’s Policy and Procedures Competencies • Scripting for Appium in C# • Assist in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications. • Participate in requirements analysis and review functional specifications to understand the testing scope and objectives. • Record and document test results, defects, and any issues encountered during the testing process. • Collaborate with software developers and project teams to understand application behaviour and resolve issues. • Assist in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and working with the development team to facilitate their resolution. • Participate in test status meetings and provide updates on test progress, issues, and risks. • Appetite to learn new skills and test tools • Good team player • Always maintain a professional standard • Ensure compliance with the Company’s Policy and Procedures • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment • Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow in the field of software testing Skills • Manual Testing • Appium scripting in C# • Rest Sharp • Understanding of Api Automation • Understanding of SQL scripting • Communication – Both verbal and written • Test Planning • Time management • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. • Basic understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and processes. • Familiarity with test case design techniques and test execution. • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
