DCP Successors Ltd seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to support its growing manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will handle routine servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring production runs smoothly and safely. Responsibilities
* Perform repairs and routine preventative maintenance on equipment such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc.
* Modify and test equipment to improve systems uptime and reliability.
* Maintain and update all process documentation.
* Supervise equipment modifications for process changes, new models, and expansion needs.
* Monitor facilities supporting process equipment, such as boilers, compressors, generators, etc.
* Update and review daily maintenance logs.
* Document results of alignments and calibrations accurately.
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment and systems, involving isolation, disassembly, and component replacement.
* Operate various hand and power tools and machines.
* Use manuals, technical documents, and vendor resources for troubleshooting and repairs.
* Notify supervisor for sourcing and ordering parts, supplies, and services.
* Ensure equipment safety and proper functioning, adhering to Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures.
* Apply Quality Policies and Procedures in daily duties.
* Perform any other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications
* Associate’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or related technology, or equivalent from a technical school, skilled trades certificate, or High School Diploma/CXC with 2-3 years of maintenance experience.
* Experience in factory operations is a plus.
* Strong communication skills for reading, interpreting documents, and writing reports.
* Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
* Good interpersonal skills for communication with employees, supervisors, customers, and contractors.
* Basic knowledge of electricity, electrical components, and computer skills; ability to read schematics; familiarity with sensors, lasers, dispensers, robotics, and conveyance systems is advantageous.
