Job Description
3. Prepare and review financial reports and statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
4. Monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to support decision-making.
5. Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and public sector regulations.
6. Manage month-end and year-end financial close processes efficiently.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial systems and controls.
8. Provide support for audits, including preparation of required documentation.
9. Assist in forecasting and financial planning activities.
10. Handle ad hoc financial tasks as required to support the organisation's goals.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Accountant should have:
11. Professional qualifications in accounting or finance.
12. Proven expertise in accounting and financial management within the public sector.
13. Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
14. Proficiency in financial software and tools.
