Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Carlisle
Employment: Full Time, Monday to Friday
Salary: up to £43,000 per annum, with flexibility for the right candidate following probation
Adecco Workington are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a successful and growing engineering business based in Carlisle.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting manufacturing and engineering processes
* Managing engineering data and system updates
* Maintaining production and engineering data
* Supporting continuous improvement and quality processes
* Assisting with production planning, workflow coordination and technical documentation
* Creating and updating bills of materials, shop orders and production documentation
* Working closely with design, production, purchasing and internal departments to support operational efficiency
* Assisting with inventory and manufacturing process control
Qualifications
* Previous experience within manufacturing or engineering environments
* Experience using ERP or manufacturing systems such as SAP, IFS or similar
* Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and manage multiple tasks and priorities
* Proactive, positive and team‑focused attitude
