This is a really exciting opportunity to be part of a newly developing multiagency pathway. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join a newly establishing team providing training, professional consultation, and specialist MDT response for Children and Young People who may be experiencing significant eating problems / ARFID.
Role Objectives
1. Work alongside the wider system, including health, education, and social care, to develop an effective pathway.
2. Drive forward and develop the pathway by collaborating with clinical specialists to ensure an effective MDT process.
3. Be a key part of the mobilisation of this new pathway.
4. Develop or build on existing skills in project delivery and quality improvement, with space for creativity in this new area.
5. Lead and develop the ARFID pathway offer.
6. Develop and strengthen clinical pathways.
7. Play a key role in developing the MDT of professionals.
8. Develop a graduated response.
9. Deliver training and consultation functions.
10. Work with VCSE partners to ensure safe and effective pathways and transitions.
11. Promote, maintain, and develop the multidisciplinary concept of care working.
12. Build therapeutic relationships with clients and their carers.
13. Participate in research to raise understanding and awareness of good clinical practice.
14. Engage in clinical governance initiatives, including audits, supervision, and applying research into practice.
