Spectrum Yarns Ltd is a proud, family-owned company based in Slaithwaite, Huddersfield. Our business has two distinct sides, Apparel, home to our premium golf brands, and Stylecraft, a leading name in hand knitting yarns.

The Customer Service Administrator is responsible for managing and processing customer orders, maintaining effective communication with clients and sales managers and supporting various administrative tasks to ensure smooth business operations. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

* Customer and Sales Team Interaction
* Returns & Complaints
* Credit Checks
* Communication
* Website Maintenance
* Shipment Coordination
* Urgent Order Fulfilment
* Stock Management
* Event Preparation
* Sending Out of Sales Team Samples
* Team Coordination
* Task Management

Qualifications:

* Experience: Previous experience in customer service, order processing, or similar administrative role is preferred.

Skills:

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Basic knowledge of invoicing and credit checking processes.
* Ability to make minor updates to websites.

Attributes:

* Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.

Work Environment:

* Physical Requirements: Ability to handle tasks that involve physical movement, such as packing and shipping orders.

Salary / Hours of work:

* £25,000 per annum
* Monday – Thursday 8.15 am – 5 pm
* Friday 8.30 am – 4 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
