Shifts: 4 on, 4 off, 18:00 start
Pay Rate: £14.65 per hour
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Transport Operations Coordinator to oversee daily transport operations, ensure smooth coordination between drivers and management, and meet both customer and company expectations.
Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Driver Coordination: Prepare work for drivers and provide pre-briefing at the start of their shifts to ensure clarity on tasks and expectations.
2. Transport Operations Management: Coordinate on-site transport operations to meet both customer and company requirements efficiently.
3. Cost Control: Collaborate with line management to ensure the effective use of customer vehicles and subcontractors, minimizing costs while maximizing operational efficiency.
