Position: Consultant Radiology (Permanent, Full‑Time)
Applications are welcome for the above Permanent, full time (40 hours per week) post based in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Consultants and Specialist Registrars who have completed, or are within six months of completion of Specialist Training for this post.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Provide senior support to Radiology Trainees & Radiographers with emphasis on improving patient care through rapid consultant‑led assessment.
* Deliver teaching of radiology and radiography to trainees.
Eligibility & Qualifications
* Full GMC Registration, licence to practise, and eligibility for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register.
* For UK‑trained doctors: evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or within six months of confirmed entry.
* Portfolio Pathway (formerly CESR) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once it has been awarded.
* Non‑UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
