Key Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant (TA) Adapt learning activities to suit the individual needs of pupils. Support students with their work by offering clear explanations and guidance. Work closely with teachers, providing feedback to enhance learning strategies. Contribute to a consistent and supportive approach to pupil development. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported and respected. Requirements of Teaching Assistant (TA) Demonstrate an understanding of the unique challenges and needs of students Effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues, building positive and supportive relationships Ability to establish trust and rapport with all members of the school community Relevant qualifications or training in primary education (desirable but not essential) Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
