The project: Opportunity to work within a life sciences programme, delivering critical national infrastructure for a central government client. We are looking for a with strong project delivery/construction management experience to support in the delivery of secured projects within the programme of works.
In the next year we will be supporting our client deliver an increase in volume of works in construction compared to previous years, with construction starting on a range of projects from infrastructure through to new build science laboratories.

Please Note: This role will be based on our client’s site in Weybridge, Surrey 3 days per week, and Moorgate, London. This role will require the successful candidate to pass both BPSS and SC clearance.
You’ll be responsible for:
1. You'll be working within a delivery team, reporting into the lead Project Manager.
2. Contract administration and management of main contractor through project delivery.
3. Manage design teams, consultants, and stakeholders, driving collaboration and service excellence.
4. Management of the contractor through RIBA 5 design to delivery fully coordinated design whilst maintaining project schedules and budgets.
5. Managing project budgets and change management to maintain control over forecast outturn cost against budget.
6. Maintaining live risk register and lead regular reviews with the wider team.
7. Fostering inclusivity, sustainability, and innovation while upholding Mace values.
8. Overseeing budgets, risks and change management, maintaining accurate plans and documentation.
You’ll need to have:
9. Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE) or equivalent development.
10. Proven experience in on site project delivery/construction management.
11. Technical expertise in building regulations and H&S regulations.
12. Extensive public sector project and programme delivery experience.
13. Strong commercial, financial and stakeholder management capability.
