Hexagon Recruitment is hiring HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a friendly and reliable team in Denbigh, working on behalf of the local authority in their Waste & Recycling department. This is a brilliant opportunity to start immediately in a long-term role with a supportive crew.
What you'll get:
* £14.60 per hour
* £28,163 per year (based on 37 hours per week)
* Overtime paid at time and a half after 37 hours
* Bank holidays paid at triple time
* Temp-to-perm role with long-term potential
What you'll be doing:
* Driving a Class 2 refuse/recycling vehicle on local rounds
* Working closely with a team of loaders to complete scheduled collections
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
* Ensuring safe driving and operation at all times in residential and rural areas
What we're looking for:
* A valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence
* Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Someone who's reliable, a team player, and happy to help on the round when needed
* A good level of physical fitness – this is an active role with some manual work involved
