An outstanding sixth form college is looking for an Educational Support Assistant (i.e. Teaching Assistant) to support students as the new academic year has begun. This would be to start as soon as possible in the coming month or so. This sixth form college situated in the inner-city area of central Manchester is looking to recruit an Educational Support Assistant (i.e. Teaching Assistant) to start with them as soon as possible. The successful Support Assistant will be required on a full-time basis for the remainder of the academic year with the opportunity to secure a college-based contract thereafter.
Responsibilities
* Fulfil a fully varied role which will include supporting students in lessons.
* Assist any students who are identified as having SEN as well as “Pathways” students who study vocational subjects and follow a plan to become independent.
* Demonstrate adaptability, confidence and willingness to help students.
Contract, Location and Start
* Full-time teaching assistant/ESA required starting as soon as possible for the remainder of the academic year.
* 1-year fixed term contract for the successful teaching assistant progressing onto and earning a college-based contract following 1 successful term with Teaching Personnel.
* Located in central Manchester, close to major bus routes with easy access via public transport.

Salary and Benefits
* Pay will range between £2100 - £2250 per month dependent upon hours and experience levels.
