* 32.5 hours per week
* Pro-rated combined salary range £19,833-£21,171 per annum, based on:
HLTA: Grade 12 salary range of £28,598-£32,061pa, and TA - Grade 15 salary range of £24,796-£25,185pa
* Split Role: HLTA 14 hours per week and TA 18.5 hours per week
* Term time plus one week (39 working weeks)

Spaxton Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant/Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work alongside our dedicated Key Stage 2 class teacher to provide a stable, caring, stimulating and supportive learning environment, which enables pupils to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
The core purpose of the roles is to work with the class teacher to ensure all pupils are engaged in their learning and are making sustained progress, as well as promoting pupils' independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. This will be through 1:1 and small group sessions.
This post is a combined role, and as HLTA, your duties will also include covering and leading class teaching and directing the work of other adults in supporting learning, as required. You will also use your expertise to contribute to the planning and preparation of learning activities.
The ideal candidates will:
* Have previous TA experience and a good standard of literacy and numeracy
* Have a commitment to supporting and understanding pupil needs
* Possess a positive, 'can do' and flexible attitude and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Candidates with a relevant HLTA standards qualification or equivalent would be desirable
