Job Title: Care Assistant - Days
Salary: £13.62ph (£12.62 for 18-21 year olds)
Hours: Full Time (7am-7pm, x3 shifts per week to include alternate weekends)
Location: Oxendon House Care Home, Market Harborough, LE16 8NE

About Oxendon House Care Home
Oxendon House is located in the quaint village of Great Oxendon (3 miles to the south of Market Harborough). The home is set around an attractive country house, which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal and dementia care for 43 residents.
Responsibilities
* You’ll join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible level of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
* You’ll be responsible for promoting our residents’ independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
* You’ll complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits.
* Ensure you are 100% current with all your mandatory training throughout the year.
Requirements
* Clear motivations and/or relevant experience.
* Residing 30 minutes or less near to the care home.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Written and oral communication skills.
* A caring and nurturing attitude.
* A positive and enthusiastic mindset.
* Time management and organisational skills.
