Job Description:
DP World is currently recruiting for the position of Head of Digital Solutions & Business Applications, Europe, working remotely with a base at our Regional Head Office in London. This key role involves managing the overall technology planning, design, implementation, execution, delivery, and support of best-practice digital solutions and business applications services.
About the role:
* Lead and manage the Technology Digital Solutions and Business Applications organization.
* Drive service delivery for business units and the Europe region.
* Enhance effectiveness through technology.
* Manage technology change for internal operational customers.
* Ensure standards and best practices are followed across digital solutions and support applications.
* Lead the digital solutions team within Europe, including functions such as Contract Logistics, Freight, and Ports & Terminals.
* Act as the focal point for digital solutions and applications activities in Europe, engaging with internal clients to gather requirements, assess existing platforms, and implement solutions.
* Make strategic recommendations for new products and applications based on business needs.
* Assess change impact and plan change activities to ensure successful adoption.
* Develop, manage, and prioritize technology projects to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
What you will bring:
* Extensive experience in a multinational enterprise environment with broad IT knowledge.
* Experience with modern web, SPA, low-code/no-code, and native mobile solutions.
* Proven management and leadership skills, including remote team management.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Understanding of software development and lifecycle.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies.
* Commercial awareness and understanding of business needs.
* Ability to motivate teams and foster a positive culture.
* Successful track record in delivering large IT projects on time and within budget.
* Ability to quickly understand and translate client requirements into effective solutions.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and awareness of emerging technologies.
