Job Role: Planning and Logistics Manager
Report to: Senior Operations Manager
Based at: Glebe Farm Foods Ltd.
Role
You will be responsible for planning orders into the production plan and managing logistics for pickups and deliveries to ensure timely and complete customer orders through effective communication and planning.
Your Responsibilities
1. Ensure all orders are planned into the production schedule to meet delivery deadlines.
2. Coordinate with local and international third-party packers and logistics providers.
3. Maintain accurate stock levels on Sage 200.
4. Communicate with senior management and finance to manage stock based on sales forecasts.
5. Collaborate with the sales department to update sales forecasts.
6. Manage logistics companies to meet delivery requirements.
7. Investigate customer delivery complaints.
8. Ensure all export customs documentation is accurate.
9. Perform other tasks as required.
Skills and Experience
* Experience with Sage 200.
* Data analysis skills.
* Knowledge of BRC standards.
* Experience with KPIs related to order timeliness and warehouse audits.
Personal Attributes
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
