Senior Structural Engineer – Cross Hands
£45,000 - £55,000 + Hybrid + Bonus

A great opportunity has opened for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a busy and expanding engineering team based in Cross Hands. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a mix of technical responsibility, project leadership, and team support across a variety of sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Producing detailed structural designs using software and hand calculations
* Undertaking structural surveys and feasibility studies
* Preparing reports, technical documentation, and managing tender processes
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and external professionals
* Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015, Building Regs, and other statutory requirements
* Supervising junior engineers and supporting their development
* Overseeing construction works on site, including inspections and certifications
About you:
* Degree-qualified in Structural Engineering (MEng preferred)
* Strong knowledge of engineering consultancy practices and current legislation
* Comfortable managing projects independently and mentoring junior staff
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Experience delivering work on time and within budget
