Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated ICT Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in the Flintshire area? We are currently working with a range of secondary schools across Flintshire seeking enthusiastic and reliable ICT Teachers to join them on a supply basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (ECTs) who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience while maintaining flexibility in their schedule. Successful candidates will be confident delivering engaging ICT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Job Specification

We recruit for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Teachers for posts across the UK. Successful candidates will hold qualified teacher status (QTS) and be happy to teach through the key stages from 3-5. Candidates who have many years experience in this subject area or who are newly qualified teacher (NQT) are welcome to register.

As an ICT Teacher you’ll be expected to:

1. Hold QTS status
2. Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
3. Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
4. Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
5. Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
6. Maintain discipline
7. Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
8. Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
9. Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
10. Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
11. Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
