About the Role As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patients receive safe and timely transport to medical appointments, treatments, or care facilities. Working 10-hour shifts over a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week service, you will need to be adaptable, reliable, and committed to meeting the needs of patients whenever they require assistance. This role offers variety and the opportunity to develop your skills in patient care, communication, and teamwork.
Your Responsibilities
* Safely transport patients with care and dignity.
* Assist patients with mobility needs, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.
* Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during their journey.
* Work closely with colleagues to respond effectively to patients' needs.
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and equipment readiness to ensure the highest standards of care.
